Softball Game Preview: Dunmore Bucks vs. Mountain View Eagles

The Dunmore Bucks will challenge the Mountain View Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Dunmore came up short against Western Wayne and fell 6-2.

Meanwhile, Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Forest City. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 17, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Izzy Hobart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Mimi Sedlak, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Dunmore, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.
