Basketball Game Preview: Dimmitt Bobcats vs. Idalou Wildcats

Dimmitt hasn't had much luck against Idalou recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Dimmitt Bobcats will welcome the Idalou Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. Idalou took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dimmitt, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Dimmitt earned a 56-47 victory over Roosevelt. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly nine points.

Meanwhile, Idalou unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Slaton, falling 48-26. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wildcats came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Tigers are ranked 284th).

The win made it two in a row for Dimmitt and bumps their season record up to 11-15. As for Idalou, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8.
