Basketball Recap: Cardozo Takes a Loss

The matchup between Cardozo and Francis Lewis on Thursday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Judges lost to the Patriots at home by a 73-58 margin. The Judges were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in February.

When it comes to explaining why Cardozo lost, don't look at Brian Hsu. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Kailan Vilfort, who had eight points and five boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Cardozo and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Francis Lewis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Cardozo has already played their next game (against Queens Teaching), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Francis Lewis also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Forest Hills.
