Basketball Recap: Auburndale Takes a Loss

Auburndale lost against Stratford back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Auburndale Apaches might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Stratford Tigers an easy 51-31 victory.

Auburndale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Stratford, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

The future could be bright for both Auburndale and Stratford: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Auburndale will try to hand Edgar their third-straight loss when the two meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stratford will look to extend Newman's three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
