Sonoma Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Livermore Cowboys on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Coyotes, who have now won 11 matches in a row.

Sonoma Academy didn't let Livermore take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 29-27.

Despite the loss, Livermore had strong showings from Claire Kenyon, who had ten digs and two assists, and Cecilia Sterneckert, who had five digs and two aces.

Sonoma Academy's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Livermore, they dropped their record down to 8-21 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Sonoma Academy will take on Urban at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Livermore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
