Basketball Recap: Harrisonburg Falls Short of Singer in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Harrisonburg can now relate to. They were dealt an 86-52 loss at the hands of the Singer Hornets on Thursday.

Harrisonburg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Singer, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-15-1 record this season.

While Harrisonburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
