Softball Recap: Windermere Comes Up Short

Windermere managed to slip by Mount Dora the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines came up short against the Canes on Wednesday, falling 15-3. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Presley Trew made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lilyan Baker, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Windermere and nudges their season record down to 8-15. As for Mount Dora, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-12.

As of now, neither Windermere nor the Canes have any future games scheduled.
