Soccer Game Preview: Highland vs. Pleasant + How To Watch

The Highland Fighting Scots will head out to face off against the Pleasant Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Monday, Highland didn't have quite enough to beat Johnstown-Monroe and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Highland have lost by just one goal.

Coleman Chamberlain and Christian Mason scored both of Highland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 30 goals.

Meanwhile, Pleasant fell victim to Buckeye Valley and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Barons, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for Pleasant in their meetings with Buckeye Valley: they've now lost eight in a row.

Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-3. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Highland was able to grind out a solid victory over Pleasant in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Scots since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
