Volleyball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley lost against Gallia Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 3-0. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-17.

It was another big night for Gracyn Clark, who had 39 assists and four digs for Gallia Academy. Clark is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 22 or more in each of the last 41 games she's played dating back to last season. Mallory Petro was another key player, getting five digs and three aces.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Gallia Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

River Valley has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Vinton County on the 30th. As for Gallia Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Portsmouth on the 30th.
