Basketball Recap: Blue Valley Southwest Takes a Loss

Blue Valley Southwest lost against Bishop Miege back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves and the Bishop Miege Stags didn't end well, with the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves falling 62-43. The Timberwolves were down 55-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

When it comes to explaining why Blue Valley Southwest lost, don't look at Lily Unruh. Despite the final result, she went 7-for-11 to rack up 17 points. Sienna Pierce also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Blue Valley Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Bishop Miege, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
