Football Game Preview: River Ridge Royal Knights vs. Sunlake Seahawks

The River Ridge Royal Knights will challenge the Sunlake Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. River Ridge will be strutting in after a win while Sunlake will be coming in after a defeat.

River Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They snuck past Mitchell with a 26-20 victory on Tuesday.

River Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Lauren Lee led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. Kinsley DeGroat is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Meanwhile, Sunlake fell victim to Land O' Lakes and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 26-0 to the Gators. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

River Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sunlake, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
