Volleyball Recap: Ocracoke Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Ocracoke was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Washington Montessori two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dolphins lost 3-0 to the Bear Grass Charter Bears on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dolphins of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-11.

Ocracoke's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bear Grass Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ocracoke will square off against rival Columbia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bear Grass Charter is set to face off against their familiar foe Mattamuskeet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
