Soccer Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall lost against Whitehouse back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marshall Mavericks came up short against the Whitehouse Wildcats, falling 4-0. The loss was the Mavericks' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marshall fell to 2-1-1. As for Whitehouse, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Marshall will be playing in front of their home fans against Nacogdoches at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marshall is facing Nacogdoches at the right time seeing as Nacogdoches is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Whitehouse, they will take on Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jacksonville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
