Basketball Recap: Greer Middle College Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Greer Middle College had lost seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it eight. They were dealt a 55-19 loss at the hands of the Greenville Tech Charter Warriors. The contest marked the Blazers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for Greenville Tech Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1. The game marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Jynia Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6-for-12 on her way to 13 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Smith is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracyn Schreel, who posted nine points and five steals.

Greer Middle College didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-24 defeat against Brashier Middle College Charter on the 9th. As for Greenville Tech Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-53 loss against Blacksburg on the 12th.
