Volleyball Game Preview: Orange Park Raiders vs. St. Johns Country Day Spartans + How To Watch

The Orange Park Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Johns Country Day Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Orange Park and eight for St. Johns Country Day.

Orange Park lost 3-0 to Nease on Tuesday.

While Orange Park was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Nease's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-20.

Orange Park might have lost, but man, Hailey Ingham was a machine: she had 23 digs and three assists. Ingham is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Arianna Calderon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, St. Johns Country Day came up short against Clay on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-14.

St. Johns Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Orange Park, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Everything went Orange Park's way against St. Johns Country Day in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, as Orange Park made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
