On FridayBurgard kept up with Middle Early College until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Middle Early College Kats took their matchup with ease, bagging an 81-47 victory over the Burgard Bulldogs. The win was familiar territory for the Kats who have now won three games in a row.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Muhamed Muhamed, who posted ten points. Muhamed is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kentae Land, who put up eight points and five boards.

Middle Early College's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Burgard, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Middle Early College has already played their next matchup (against McKinley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Burgard will head out on the road to face off against Hutchinson-Central Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
