Maclay owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the North Florida Christian Eagles 1-0. The Marauders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The result came thanks to Jack Koon's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Maclay's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Poppell, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Maclay's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for North Florida Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Maclay will face off against Wakulla at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Florida Christian, they will square off against Chiles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Timberwolves have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
