Football Game Recap: Pendleton County vs. Bracken County

After having lost a blowout to Ludlow in their previous game, Bracken County was happy to find some success on Friday. Bracken County snuck past Pendleton County with a 12-8 win. That result is just more of the same for Bracken County, who also won the last time these teams played.

Bracken County got off to a sluggish start, posting 6 total points in the first half. That left them at a 6-8 disadvantage. In the second half, however, Bracken County's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 0 points. The contest brought them to 2-1 and dropped Pendleton County to a mirror-image 1-2.

Bracken County will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Trimble County at 7:30 PM. Pendleton County will look to defend their home turf next week against Dayton at 7:30 PM.
