Volleyball Recap: Chicago Vocational Comes Up Short

Chicago Vocational was the 2-0 winner over Englewood Stem when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Monday. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Chicago Vocational ultimately came up short, they really made Englewood Stem work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21.

Chicago Vocational's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Englewood Stem, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chicago Vocational will challenge Christian Fenger Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Englewood Stem, they will look to defend their home court on the 30th against Corliss at 5:00 p.m.
