Basketball Recap: Arihanna Williams and Shadiamond Francis Service Secure Win for Excelsior Classical Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vance Charter, Excelsior Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They took down the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls 32-15. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Flying Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Excelsior Classical Academy was led to victory by Shadiamond Francis Service and Arihanna Williams. Francis Service posted 16 points and four steals, while Williams put up 11 points along with five boards and four steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.

Excelsior Classical Academy's record now sits at 4-8. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Excelsior Classical Academy has already played their next game, a 67-17 defeat against Roxboro Community on the 17th. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-21 loss against Neuse Christian Academy on the 17th.
