Tri-Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Philo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Scotties will be playing in front of their home fans against the Electrics at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Tri-Valley came up short against Maysville and fell 71-63. While losing is never fun, the Scotties can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Panthers are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Philo, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past Meadowbrook with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-43. The Electrics haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Philo's win came from a few key players that Tri-Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Rusty Trout, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 17 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carter Crabtree, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 15 points.

Tri-Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Philo, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Tri-Valley strolled past Philo in their previous matchup back in December of 2025 by a score of 55-38. Will the Scotties repeat their success, or do the Electrics have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
