King's Way Christian hadn't done well against La Center recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. King's Way Christian walked away with a 9-5 win over La Center. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Sam Somarakis, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Cade Horrocks also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

King's Way Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for La Center, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

King's Way Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against La Center: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
