Volleyball Recap: McBain Takes a Loss

McBain lost against Mt. Pleasant back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ramblers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oilers. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

McBain may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 16 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Kharman Loya, who had 12 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

McBain now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-3-1.

Looking ahead, McBain will challenge Houghton Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Valley Lutheran on the 4th.
