Basketball Game Preview: Bainbridge Spartans vs. North Kitsap Vikings

Bainbridge hasn't had much luck against North Kitsap recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bainbridge Spartans will look to defend their home court against the North Kitsap Vikings at 8:00 p.m. North Kitsap took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bainbridge, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Bainbridge blew past North Mason, posting a 72-45 victory. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Kitsap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against Sequim, falling 77-47. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Wolves are ranked 41st).

Bainbridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points over those games. As for North Kitsap, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Bainbridge strolled past North Kitsap in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 80-63. Will Bainbridge repeat their success, or does North Kitsap have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
