Baseball Game Preview: Fort Stockton Panthers vs. Randall Raiders

The Fort Stockton Panthers will face off against the Randall Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Stockton hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

While Fort Stockton's win against Pecos wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Randall waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They beat the Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-1.

Randall pushed their record up to 20-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Fort Stockton, the win got them back to even at 14-14.
