Softball Recap: Trigg County Takes a Loss

Trigg County fell victim to Madisonville-North Hopkins and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maroons. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Trigg County's record is now 18-14. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, their record now sits at 20-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trigg County will challenge Marshall County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Marshals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, they will take on Lyon County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
