 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Greene can now relate to. They lost  10-0 to the Union Area Scotties on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 13  runs in the game before, West Greene's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 West Greene saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emmaline Beazell, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double.
 On Union Area's side,  Mia Preuhs was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Preuhs has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Preuhs was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run.
 In other batting news,  Irelyn Fisher was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Mallory Gorgacz was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 West Greene's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Union Area, the  victory was  the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.
 As of now, neither West Greene nor Union Area have any future games scheduled.
