Basketball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-2 to make it five. They took a blow against the Lindsay Leopards, falling 66-35. The Red Tornadoes were not able to make up for their loss to the Leopards from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

As for Lindsay, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 60.0 points this season.

Lindsay's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaac Cameron led the charge by shooting 64% from the field to rack up 16 points and five assists. Armando Hernandez was another key player, as he made all 7 shots he took to post 15 points and seven boards.

Looking ahead, Clinton is taking a road trip to challenge Cache at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lindsay, after both having extra time off, they and Comanche will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
