Baseball Recap: Siloam Springs Comes Up Short

Siloam Springs lost to Neosho back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers fell 10-5 to the Wildcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jack O'Brien made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Siloam Springs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 1-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Brady Addington, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Siloam Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Neosho, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Siloam Springs will take on Pea Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Neosho, they will head out to challenge Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
