Soccer Recap: East Starts off Right with Win over Taylorsville

East had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Taylorsville Warriors a 5-0 shutout on Monday.

East's offense was hitting Taylorsville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East will square off against Northridge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Taylorsville, they will venture away from home to square off against Roy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
