Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Martin Luther beat St. Joseph 73-68. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Lancers are ranked 179th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee Reagan might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Greendale an easy 71-51 win. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milwaukee Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Martin Luther, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
