Football Game Preview: Harrison Hoyas vs. Osborne Cardinals + How To Watch

Harrison is a perfect 4-0 against Osborne since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hoyas will host the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Osborne took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Harrison, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Harrison took their game with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over South Cobb. The Hoyas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 25 points or more this season.

Harrison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dj Huggins, who picked up 70 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one rushing score. Jermaine Hill was another key rusher, rushing for 79 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Harrison was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 327 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Harrison's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB nine times. The heavy lifting was done by Adam Price and Olrick Johnson Iii, who racked up five sacks between them. Johnson Iii is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Osborne played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 34-14 to Paulding County. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-7.

Harrison's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average this season. As for Osborne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Everything came up roses for Harrison against Osborne in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-0 victory. Will the Hoyas repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
