Campbellsville typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Boyle County proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Eagles on Wednesday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Boyle County got a great performance from Landon Parnass as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Parnass has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kyler Claunch, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Wheeler, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Boyle County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Campbellsville, their loss dropped their record down to 22-12.

Looking ahead, Boyle County will challenge Thomas Nelson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Generals have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. Campbellsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
