While Hazard put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Buckhorn. The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fifth in a row for Hazard, bringing their record up to 13-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Buckhorn, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hazard beat the Wildcats by a score of 18-0 later that day.
