Preview: Marshwood vs. Greely
Greely may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Marshwood at 7:00 PM. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
Greely had a rough outing against Noble two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Everything went Greely's way against Mt. Blue last week as the squad secured a 54-18 win.
Meanwhile, Marshwood took the contest and then some with a 49-13 victory over Lawrence. With Marshwood ahead 28-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Marshwood to 2-0 and Greely to 1-1. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
