Basketball Recap: Fort Thomas Gets the Win

Fort Thomas lost to San Carlos last Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Apaches skirted past the Braves 56-54.

Leilynn Wesley was the offensive standout of the contest as she shot 55% from the field to rack up 16 points and four steals. Those four steals gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jamie Johnson, who posted ten points and three steals.

Fort Thomas' victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for San Carlos, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
