Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Windham

Windham extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Malcolm Hunter. The Windham Whippets came out on top against the Bacon Academy Bobcats by a score of 64-55 on Friday thanks in part to Hunter, who went 8 of 14 en route to 19 points along with five assists and three steals. The contest was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.

Anden Gonzalez was another key player, putting up 18 points. He has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played.

Windham's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Bacon Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Windham will be playing at home against Coventry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Windham is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.1 points per game this season. Bacon Academy has already played their next matchup (against Ledyard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
