The Denver South Ravens will face off against the Fossil Ridge SaberCats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Denver South is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.5 points per game this season.

Denver South is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Rangeview, who was ranked first at the time (Denver South was ranked 15th). Denver South lost to Rangeview on the road by a 70-54 margin on Saturday. The Ravens have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Dominic Rhoades-Martinez put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 21 points and five assists. Christian Cobb was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Fossil Ridge was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 60-55 to Rocky Mountain.

Denver South's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Fossil Ridge, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

Denver South couldn't quite finish off Fossil Ridge when the teams last played back in November of 2017 and fell 62-60. Can Denver South avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
