Basketball Recap: Menahga Braves vs. Sebeka Trojans

Menahga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 72-58 bruising from the Sebeka Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-61 last Tuesday.

Sebeka found their leader in sophomore Max Lake, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 12 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lake has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Parker Kiser, who posted seven points in addition to 12 rebounds and four steals.

Menahga's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Sebeka, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menahga will host Pillager at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sebeka, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wadena-Deer Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
