Basketball Recap: Niles North Comes Up Short

Niles North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Maine West Warriors, falling 50-23. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-34 back in December of 2024.

Niles North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Maine West, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-14 record.

Niles North won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lincoln Park at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. Maine West has already played their next game (against Resurrection), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
