Baseball Recap: Hopkins Find Success

Hopkins posted their closest win since April 17th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the King Vikings 5-4. Five seems to be a good number for the Hilltoppers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Sean Studley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Tommy O'Connell was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Hopkins' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.
