Basketball Recap: Lookeba-Sickles Comes Up Short

Lookeba-Sickles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Calumet Chieftains 106-25. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chieftains from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Lookeba-Sickles' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Calumet, the victory was the eighth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lookeba-Sickles will challenge Cordell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Calumet, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Lomega at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
