Collinsville took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Fyffe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers came out on top against the Red Devils on Tuesday by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 9-3 victory the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

Jake Middlebrooks was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Collinsville has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fyffe, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.
