Basketball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven lost against St. James back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The New Haven Shamrocks were beaten by the St. James Tigers 54-27. While losing is never fun, the Shamrocks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Tigers are ranked 38th).

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for St. James, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

New Haven will venture away from home to square off against St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. James has already played their next game (against Pacific), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
