Volleyball Recap: Crystal Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Jefferson County last Monday, Crystal Springs came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Wesson Cobras on Monday. The Tigers have struggled against the Cobras recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Crystal Springs was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Wesson work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18, 25-21.

Crystal Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wesson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Crystal Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Franklin County on the 16th. As for Wesson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Loyd Star on the 18th.
