Baseball Recap: Quantico Comes Up Short

Quantico was the 11-4 winner over Immanuel Christian when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Quantico took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Immanuel Christian on Monday. Quantico has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

A Jesse made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Quantico's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Immanuel Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Quantico will venture away from home to challenge Front Royal HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Immanuel Christian, they will welcome Randolph-Macon Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for the Warriors: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while the Yellow Jackets have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
