Volleyball Recap: Rifle Bears vs. Summit Tigers

Rifle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Summit Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-14.

Isabella Harden paced Rifle's offense, picking up five kills. Harden got some help from Pearl Langstaff and her 12 assists. Kristina Stewart controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Summit found their leader in freshman Taylor Wagner, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Wagner.

Rifle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Summit, their record is now 8-11.

Rifle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Coal Ridge on the 16th. As for Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Glenwood Springs on the 16th.
