Football Recap: St. Bernard's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Jordan last Friday, St. Bernard came back down to earth. The Vikings took a hard 33-18 fall against the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 48-32 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Gary Ferguson threw for 56 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Jayden Armstrong rushed for 28 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Bernard fell to 3-1. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, St. Bernard will head out on the road to challenge St. Monica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mariners' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, they will host Kaiser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will be up against the Cats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
