Basketball Game Preview: Medford Raiders vs. Menomonie Mustangs

The Medford Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Menomonie Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Medford is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Last Friday, Medford didn't have too much trouble with Northland Pines as they won 47-29.

Meanwhile, Menomonie was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 58-57 to New Richmond. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Menomonie's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Medford, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1.

Medford might still be hurting after the 66-43 defeat they got from Menomonie when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Medford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
