Softball Recap: Marengo Takes a Loss

Marengo fell victim to Choctaw County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Choctaw County Tigers, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 25 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Marengo's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Choctaw County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marengo will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Johnson at 4:00 p.m. on April 3rd. As for Choctaw County, they will host Southern Choctaw at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
